Completion of critical project for blue-chip pharma

Epsilon recently completed the transfer of integrated large scale pilot equipment for a major blue chip company relocating to a new product launch site. Key was to mitigate the business interruption risks and transfer in a phased manner which required a flexible approach. The project included decontamination, decommissioning, transfer, reinstallation and qualification of equipment including downflow booths, granulation equipment, blenders, compression equipment and coating amongst other solid dose equipment. The project was preceded by detail design requiring close collaboration with the end user, building designers and principle contractor. The project was executed on time and our element was under budget. A second phase is now on-going with the upgrade of several items or process equipment to enable high contained small scale manufacturing and development batches.
